Our Story
Passion for cars has been at the heart of Van Oost Motors from the very beginning. Founder Olivier Van Oost grew up in the automotive world, helping in his father Eddy Van Oost's business, Powercars, from the age of 12. After graduating in Automotive Technology, he officially joined the family company in 2002, gaining extensive experience in aftersales, quality control, and technical excellence.
In 2009, Olivier and his brother Matthias founded Van Oost Cars in Torhout. As the company continued to grow, Van Oost Motors was established in Jabbeke, creating a dedicated centre for the maintenance, repair, and sale of premium and high-performance vehicles.
Today, Van Oost Motors is renowned for its expertise in Porsche and other exclusive sports cars. As the official service partner of Powercars, the company combines decades of experience with specialist knowledge and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
Olivier's passion extends beyond the workshop. With more than 12 years of motorsport experience, including the Fun Cup, Belcar, Dunlop Endurance Cup, BRCC, and Porsche Cup Benelux, he brings genuine racing expertise to every vehicle.
Together with Maxime Dewitte, who graduated with Highest Honours in Automotive Technology from VIVES University of Applied Sciences, Olivier continues to build Van Oost Motors into a trusted destination for enthusiasts and owners who value quality, expertise, and personal service.
